Commercial Staff

Stradling's Fine Cabinetry has a solid staff of experienced estimators and project managers. We will use our expertise to ensure that your project is completed on time, withing your budget, and meets your specifications. Take a minute to get to know our staff.

Bob Mills – Production Manager
Has been in the woodworking industry since 1979.  Bob started in a small 4 man shop as an assembler. He moved to an architectural woodworking company to take an assembly position. In this position he was able to learn the ins and outs of architectural woodworking including installation. In addition Bob has worked as a mill-man, installer, lead installer, shop foreman, plant manager, field manager, and project manager.

Mike Waldron – Project Manager
Has significant production experience having worked 15 years in boat manufacturing which included three years as a production supervisor. Mike has worked five years for Stradlings starting in shipping and receiving. During his four years on the shop floor Mike was able to move from the assembly area to machine operator, including edge bander, panel saw, molder, knife grinder and the shaper for all areas of the production shop. After four years in production, Mike was promoted to Project Manager.  During his tenure as project manager, Mike managed production of the Landmark Condos in Scottsdale, First State Bank of Flagstaff, Scottsdale Air Park, Tempe Transportation, Kierland Financial Scottsdale, and Verde Valley Hospital of Cottonwood.

Tony Green – Lead Installer
Has tremendous experience in woodwork. He started his construction career over fifteen years ago in Detroit, Michigan. Tony learned about the business remodeling homes and doing small commercial jobs. After being involved in these projects, Tony decided to enter a carpentry apprentice program. Since completion of his apprentice program, Tony has successfully been involved in high-end custom residential millwork and worked on homes owned by Bill Lambere (Detroit Pistons), Barry Sanders (Detroit Lions), Tim Allen (Actor), and Aretha Franklin (Singer).

The ability to adapt to many different types of projects is one of Stradlings strengths. Stradlings projects include new construction, remodels and space expansion including:

Custom Residential

Crowe Residence - Scottsdale
This extraordinary masterpiece features custom woodwork throughout the kitchen, bath, office, library, theatre, closets and other areas. It was fabricated from Australian Jarrah, American Black Walnut and Select Alder.   The project also included extensive beamed ceilings and paneling for 10 rooms, including an intricate domed ceiling at the dining area. Stradlings also supplied the interior/exterior doors and jambs, stairway millwork including custom carved newels, balusters with a 56-piece custom laminated radiused handrail. This home showcases Stradlings’ abilities and craftsmanship.

Ferguson Residence 
Residential millwork included interior/exterior doors, jambs, wainscoting and running trim and crown moldings, as well as custom cabinetry for the kitchen, library, office, and buffet areas.

Kaiser Residence
The kitchen, office, entertainment center and dining room hutch cabinets were all fabricated in a traditional raised panel door style, including the library wainscoting. All materials featured knotty alder with three different hand glazed finishes.

Maurer Residence 
Stradlings fabricated and installed the cabinetry throughout the home, including custom mantles and entertainment centers.  All of the cabinetry was done in a hand-glazed finish, with Alder raised panels doors in a traditional design.

Gramling Residence
A contemporary Candlewood Estates home featured European style, Quartered Maple veneer cabinets with sleek lines and uniform reveals. The project was custom finished with a light brown stain to highlight and accentuate the wood grain.

Garrett Residence 
A contemporary custom home that showcased a fully “blueprinted” plain sliced Maple full overlay flat panel door, with hand selected flitches, to create a continuous distinctive pattern that blends throughout the home. This project was photographed by Dino Tonn and is featured in several publications.

Red Rock Custom Homes - Scottsdale
A 9,000 square foot home in Troon North.  Includes the kitchen, laundry room, master bedroom, secondary baths and five ceiling treatments.  The home theatre and personal office feature custom wainscoting and paneling details. Several different cabinet styles and finishes, as well as custom crown and base molding throughout the home, make this a unique and desirable home.
